Mission Statement
To prevent disease and promote, maintain and improve
the good health of the people living and working within the Barberton Health
District; to educate the community about public health matters and to
enforce/implement State of Ohio and local public health programs.
Vision Statement
The Barberton Health District will strive to increase the health and
quality of life of the citizens of Barberton by reducing the risk of
communicable disease, preventable chronic disease and environmental
