Statement of Purpose:
To improve the health of the community by providing information and educational programs, which will empower individuals to make informed decisions, and to undertake action regarding their health.

Eat Well. Live Well:  A community based Wellness Program for the residents of Barberton.
         

Tobacco Prevention Programs:
Summit County Tobacco Prevention Coalition: The Barberton Health District, in collaboration of agencies and organizations, offer countywide tobacco prevention and cessation programming throughout Summit County.

Tobacco Merchant Compliance Checks:  In Ohio, it is illegal for anyone to sell tobacco to anyone under the age of 18.  Compliance checks are completed in cooperation with the Barberton and Norton Police Departments and are intended to reduce youth access to tobacco products.
